Because her head is still flat we were going to purchase a few things that would allow her to stay upright without our help like a saucer and Bumbo seat. I had mentioned this to some friends of ours and they so graciously let us barrow a few things, which is awesome because it saves us a few bucks especially since we just had to get a new water heater. She has really enjoyed her new toys. The other night we played volleyball at the church with some friends from the ward and she pushed herself backwards in the walker for over an hour.
She continues to lose her hair, which is so sad. I thought that since she didn't lose any the first few months that we would be good to go, but this last month she has been shedding almost as much as I have. But of course she still has the tuft of hair in the back, I guess she is going for the mullet look. The last few weeks she has been sleeping really well (knock on wood). We lay her down between 8 and 8:30 and she will wake up around 7:45. There was even one morning I had to wake her up at 9. She also eats a little bit faster now with the bottle, which is nice. We have spent even more time this month doing tummy time trying to get her to roll over. We thought that since she is not the biggest fan of her tummy that it might motivate her to roll over, but that didn't seem to help. As you can see there are times that she is more willing than others.
Here are a few more random pictures from throughout the month:
Still loves her fingers
We have to do a lot more laundry now that she is completely on formula. She spits up way more.
Out for a walk. She loves to kick up her feet.
She's as cute as ever! And she's just going to get more and more fun as the months go by!!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures! She is a doll
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I'm glad she's enjoying the walker and bumbo...better than just sitting in our house gathering dust! ;) They do grow up so fast...
