Family Pictures

This summer we have had a few different opportunities to take family pictures.  The first was at the Moss family reunion in McCall in July. Then in August my family was all together so we decided to get some pictures taken because it had been about 2 years.  My cousin Brittany took them and did a great job.  We also had to get our picture taken for the ward directory at church and it was not just a little snap shot, this guy was hard core and I think they turned out great, especially Brooklyn's picture.  It just is her personality summed up perfectly in a picture.

Labor Day Weekend

We started Labor Day weekend off with the first Boise State football game of the season.  Craig and I were able to go to the game with his family and my mom was kind enough to watch Brooklyn.  BSU had a close game against University of Washington but ended up pulling off the W.  Saturday morning we woke up and headed up to McCall with Craig's family. We went on a lot of walks, watched movies, did puzzles, ate ice cream, drank hot chocolate, had fires and just enjoyed time together.  On Monday Craig, Mark and Stan went golfing and Paige and I went and got pedicures, thanks to Diane for watching the kids for a few hours.  The rest of the family headed back to town Monday evening, but Craig took Tuesday off and we hung out at the cabin for another day.  It was sad to have Craig go back to work today, but I guess someone has to make some money.  I love long weekends!

Summer Fun!

This summer we have spent a lot of time outside.  At the park, in the pool, at the lake, up at the cabin, running around at the splash pad, picking raspberries, etc.  We have had a lot of fun doing most of these things with family.  Brooklyn is a bronze baby with some awesome tan lines and she loves to be outside. Brooklyn and I have done a lot of playing this summer and we are sad to see the summer go.  Hopefully we can get a few more swims in before the pool has to be closed. We have loved being back close to family and getting to spend so much time with them.  Over the summer Brooklyn has become really close with both sets of grandparents and all of her cousins and Aunts and Uncles.  She loves spending time with family. I'm glad that she will get to grow up close to those that love her most.
