Nursery here we come!  I don't think McKay is very excited for nursery at church but I sure am.  I am sure he will be a little sad when he gets dropped off, but he will do just fine.  We are almost finished teething for awhile.  He has all but 1 K-9 through and it is about to pop through any day now.  His sleeping has slowly gotten better.  Most nights he sleeps through the night.  Some nights he will cry a few times but will get back to sleep by himself and every once in a while I have to go in a rock him for a minute.  He is an early riser compared to Brooklyn, most mornings he is up sometime around 6:30 am.   He has been napping well (knock on wood), most days he will nap for around 2 hours, some days I even have to wake him up.  It has been really nice to get his sleeping back on track, hopefully we have a while before his next sleep regression.

He hasn't picked up a whole lot of new words this last month, but his sound effects are on point.  He has a sound effect for the garbage truck, airplane, car, fire truck, blowing on raspberries on his tummy, lots of grunting for throwing things and pushing things (think tennis player or weight lifter).  He does now say beep (the horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep), MaaMa (Grandma), Hoo Hoo (owl), and whoa  He will finally let me read him stories, well only before nap and bed but at least that is something.  He has started to really mimic Brooklyn and loves to do what she is doing, like making funny faces. He has also really started showing his emotions, or maybe I should say anger.  If Brooklyn wont give him a toy he wants, then he will hit her or pull her hair.  If I try to give him a kiss and he doesn't want it then he will push my face away.  Brooklyn never hit or pulled hair so this is new territory for me.

He loves to crawl into things and sit in things.  The kids favorite entertainment right now is throwing their stuffed animals down the stairs.  Luckily so far it has just been soft things, but I'm sure one day soon I will hear the thud of something harder landing at the bottom of the stairs.  He is getting really good at building towers with his blocks and loves to drive his trucks around the living room.  For as much as he is glued to my hip, he wants to walk anytime we are in public places (the times I would much prefer he let me carry him).  He has started to become a little bit more of a picky eater and meals have become a little tougher.  He still loves to throw his food on the floor, which makes clean up time super fun.  We have had to start cheering for him to get him to eat sometimes.  He especially likes Craig and Brooklyn to clap for him when he takes a big bite.  One of his new things is pulling down his pants.  It started with pulling them down when he did a stinky, but now he just does it randomly like at church or Brooklyn's dance class.  Not only does he loves pulling them down but he insists on putting them on by himself, which he is actually pretty good at.  So if I am lazy (like normal) and don't put away a pair of his pants, then all of the sudden he will have multiple pairs of pants on and he is so proud of himself.  He really is a goofball.  He is pretty happy for the most part and a lot of fun to be around.  I sure do love my munchkin man!

Still obsessed with the garbage
This last month we were also able to go up to McCall.  We had a blast playing in the snow and eating yummy food.  Brooklyn and I also went ice skating.  She earned it because she got rid of her burp clothes finally.  She had still been sleeping with them and I thought it might be a struggle to get rid of them, but in true Brooklyn form it only took a few days and barely any tears.
