Well this little goof ball is growing up too fast.  He has started talking a lot more.  He picks up new words all the time and gets very frustrated if we can't figure out what he is trying to tell us.  He is now working on his second 2 year molar, which has him a little cranky.  He had a fun bout of hand/foot/mouth.  Luckily it was pretty short lived.  He had a high fever for just over 24 hours and then didn't want to eat for another 24 hours and then was totally fine after that, aside from the red bumps on his ankles and hands.  Too bad Craig's stint with it wasn't as short lived.  He is pretty happy most of the time, he definitely has the occasional tantrum, but most of the time he is a smiley boy.  He loves to go up to everyone and say "hi" until they finally acknowledge him and say hi back.  He is still completely obsessed with his blanket and his WaWa and drags them all over the house.  Luckily he lets me wash them and doesn't throw too big of a fit.  He continues to learn new words, but my favorite is that he now refers to himself as Bubba.  He loves to play with his sister and has started getting a little rough.  He loves to tackle her and do belly bumps.  He also loves to play catch.  He has about 5 different basketballs and will play catch with whoever will sit down and play with him.  He has also really been into anything with wheels, trucks, cars, dump trucks, etc.  He loves to jump into the pool.  He does baby jumps and whoa (big) jumps, he has even jumped off the diving board a few times.  Brooklyn has been into dressing up recently and so McKay decided that he wanted to join her.  He typically goes for one of her tutus and occasionally will add fairy wings or princess heels or other accessories.  Craig's not so sure how he feels about it, but I think it is fantastic.  Maybe I should start getting him some more manly dress up clothes.  He is definitely not my baby anymore and is such a cute little boy.  He still loves his binky and it is clipped to him most of the time.  One of these days we will get rid of it, but right now it is not worth the fight.  I can't believe he will be two next month, time to start looking for presents.

We were able to spend Father's Day weekend in McCall with Craig's parents.  We played outside a lot. threw rocks into the lake, played at the playground, went on a few walks and ate a lot of yummy food.  Craig and I were also able to go on a quick hike just the two of us up to Boulder Lake.  It is amazing how much quicker it goes when you don't have a kid on your back.  It was a great weekend and glad that we can once again spend time up in McCall with Craig's parents, now that they are home from their mission.
