Let Freedom Ring

Well the 4th of July wasn't quite the same as most years, but we still managed to have a great day celebrating our great country.  There was no parade this year, which made the kids sad, but after Craig's traditional golf round we headed up to Craig's parents house to swim and bbq with Craig's brother Eric and his family.  The kids had a blast swimming with their cousins and we ate a yummy dinner.  After dinner we did some fireworks in the driveway, OMG fire works are expensive, I mean I knew they were pricey but this was the first year we had to be the one purchasing the big pack, HOLY SMOKES.  Anyways, I digress...  The kids had a ton of fun with the sparklers and lighting off the little fireworks.  We then headed home and after watching some Star Wars we put McKay to bed and Craig and Brooklyn headed to the City of Star fire works.  It was a pretty chill day, but we got to spend it together and remind ourselves how lucky we are to live in this country, even amongst all the craziness that is happening right now.
