McKay is officially in the double digits! He is thrilled to be 10 years old. He is our big hearted, loud, excited, happy, best hype man ever. He is the life of the party and a friend to everyone. He loves football the most but also loves to play basketball and any other sport. He loves to spend time with his cousins and friends and is happiest if he is busy playing a sport with said friends or cousins.
This year we didn't do a party for his birthday, but he had a full day of birthday celebrations. He started the morning with a donut breakfast, then Nana and Pops picked him up to take him shopping at Scheel's and out to lunch. We then met them back at their house to swim, before heading to Red Robin for dinner. After dinner we went back to Stan and Diane's for presents and cinnamon rolls. At Scheel's he choose a fake hunting rifle, a gold chain and some sort of bouncy ball and of course some candy. Grandma got him an automatic nerf gun and a new sports card binder. And then from mom and dad he got a new BB gun, a hatchet, a new outside basketball, and a watch that counts his steps. Sunday we then had a birthday dinner at Grandma's house and celebrated again with cupcakes.
It was a fun day celebrating our favorite son! We are so blessed to have him in our lives and our family, it just would not be the same without him. Oh how we love our Bubba!
